Poison Dart Frog

The Poison Dart frog is probably my favourite frog, mainly because of its highly toxic skin and very vibrant colours.  They may only be one inch long, but they contain a lot of poison. Weighing less than an ounce, these frogs are considered one of Earth's most toxic species. For example, the golden poison dart frog has enough poison to kill 20,000 mice.  In some tribes of amazon rainforest, they catch one of these critters an scrape off the poison onto their darts.  Then when they fire the darts, it poisons and kills their prey and make it drop to the floor from the trees.

Happy Easter

Edd Gould

Unfortunately on Tuesday 25th March 2012, a well loved youtube animator passed away from cancer after his body weakened and gave up.  A friend of his, Thomas 'TomSka' Ridgewell said in a youtube video on Edds behalf that he put down buisness oppurtunities, tv shows and many more fame oppurtunities down just so that he could carry on entertaining his world wide audience.  Watch the video made by Tomska and the rest of their gang.  When they released the video, in just 1 day they had made over 1 million views with that number still growing.  Gould died aged 23 after a six-year-long battle with cancer. However, in the announcement made by Thomas and Matthew Hargreaves (wallycube), Edd had left part one of the next Eddsworld episode, a two parter. Tom and Matt will create the second part. The future state of the series after this is currently unknown. 

The Blobfish

Recently at school in ICT we have been asked to make a pod cast about something educational.  I chose to do it about my top 5 weirdest sea creatures and the one animal that reached 1st place was the Blobfish.
Here is some information about it

• Live in depths between 600-1,200m
• lives in a pressure of more than several dozen times higher than at sea level
• rarely caught by sea trawlers off the coasts of Australia and Tasmania
• Looks very much like a blob of fat or lard

Air Cadets

Every tuesday, I go to the 1079 tiverton air cadet squadron and meet with friends.  Each week we are told to wear a specific uniform (either light blues, dark blues, greens, or casual) and do a lot of drill, lessons, field work, messing around, chatting etc.  It's a great laugh and I hope all of you who read this have a go at either the air, army, sea, police etc cadets.  It's a great place to get socialable and at each break, all you need is £1 to buy a can of coca cola and a small bag of sweets.  Above all this you can have great experiences such as helicoptor rides, glider rides, shooting, camps and much much more.  While you're doing this you can be promoted and reach higher and higher ranks.  The best thing of all is that you can boast infront of your friends about everything done.
